View snapshot source volume details

TimeFinder SnapVX is a local replication solution that is designed to non-disruptively create point-in-time copies (snapshots) of critical data.

Steps

  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Click Protection and select Manual SnapVX from the Protected Storage Groups section of the summary panel.
  3. Select a storage group, click An icon showing the letter i, and click the number next to Number of Snapshots.
  4. Select a snapshot and select An icon showing the letter i to open the snapshot Details view.
  5. Click the number next to Volumes.
  6. Select the volume and click An icon showing the letter i.

    The following properties display:

    • Name—Name of the volume
    • State—Snapshot state
    • Timestamp—Date and time that the snapshot was created.
    • Secured—Snapshot secured indication
    • Expiry date—Expiry date
    • Flags—Snapshot flags (possible values are: Failed, Link, Restore, GCM, Type (FLRGFT))
    • Capacity (MB)—Capacity of the volume
    • Capacity (GB)—Capacity of the volume
    • Capacity (TB)—Capacity of the volume
    • Tracks—Number of source tracks that the host has not yet overwritten.
    • Track Size—Track size in bytes
    • Linked Volumes—Linked volumes
